
Arts and Community Programmer
Lionel Fong is a multidisciplinary arts and community programmer whose work bridges storytelling, technology, and social connection. He is passionate in shaping participatory and inclusive arts experiences that foster dialogue, empathy, and belonging among diverse communities.
Currently pursuing his final year in BA (Hons) Arts Management at LASALLE College of the Arts, Lionel had led Echoes of the Bay, a Virtual Reality installation showcased at Singapore Night Festival 2025 and Singapore Design Week 2025, and co-led Crafting Futures, Trading Places with Fei Yue Community Services, an intergenerational arts initiative connecting youths and seniors through multiple art forms.
Rooted in the belief that art can be both reflective and transformative, Lionel continues to explore how creative programming can cultivate community well-being and reimagine how people experience culture.

Team LASALLE | Busan IT Promotion Agency | Team Member
- Represented Singapore as an event finalist within a team of 4; the project showcased how the use of immersive technologies to display indigenous communities' cultures as a method for cultural preservation and to improve audiences' cultural appreciation. This innovative idea eventually emerged in 3rd place.
- Presented this idea as a student speaker for the “Communicating the Arts” held in Singapore under the category of “Emerging Leaders: Reimagining Heritage for Digital Natives” in 2023.

- Facilitating with diverse groups of youth for 3 seasons into creating content for social causes such as community fridge, community meals and community cats
- Both Season 1 and Season 2 had activated more than 400 doners, in which a total of close to 10k in total had been raised for the causes.
